TEACHING CAREERS

Excelsior International School (EIS) is located near the heart of the city, the campus covers a total area of over 44,000 square metres, with ample capacity for up to 1,500 students and is equipped with the latest facilities to give students maximum opportunity to excel in academic studies, sports and the arts.

EIS, a CIS Member and CIE Centre, offers an international education to students from over 50 countries around the world, representing North America, Europe, Africa, Middle/Far East and the Pacific Rim. EIS offers a broad-based curriculum with innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills at its core. Students acquire the relevant skills and abilities to survive in a competitive environment as "global citizens" equipped for the future.

The EIS Pre-School is an early learning centre with a child centred program in which the individual needs, abilities, and interests of the child are met. Its curriculum does not concentrate solely on academic achievements, but on the physical, emotional and social development needs of children at the pre-school age level.

The EIS Junior School is an IBPYP Candidate School. Students at the Middle School follow a curriculum based on the Cambridge Lower Secondary School Programme (CLSP) where academic skills, communication skills, confidence building and understanding of the global environment and its challenges are emphasized. Students ultimately prepare for the Cambridge IGCSE examinations in Grades 9 and 10. High School students (Grades 11 & 12) follow the IB Diploma Programme (DP).  EIS is an IB/DP authorised School.
