Raffles Campus and Excelsior International School (EIS)
Since 2003, Raffles Campus Pte. Ltd. (Raffles Campus) has developed tertiary courses all over Asia in collaboration with university partners worldwide. Today, its network consists of campuses located in China, Vietnam, Dubai, India and Singapore. It is the first school to be awarded the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) for Private Education Organisations (PEOs). In September 2006, Raffles Campus was acquired by Emaar Education, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emaar Properties, the world's largest listed real estate firm in terms of assets and market value . Raffles Campus aims to provide the highest quality private education through its campus network, with emphasis on an integrated model of education from the early development ages at the Nursery and Kindergarten level through Elementary and Secondary schools to business schools and universities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region as well as the Indian Subcontinent and the Asian Region.
Emaar's first international school, Excelsior International School (formerly known as Emaar International School), opened in Singapore in January 2007.
Excelsior International School (EIS) currently meets the educational needs of more than 400 students from over 55 different countries. Enrolment is steadily increasing to meet the educational needs of the children of expatriates in Singapore.
The 470,000 sq ft campus at 201 Ulu Pandan Road has facilities to support all academic and co-curricular programs for up to 1500 students. These include swimming pools, gymnasiums, sports fields, and science, computer, and multi-media laboratories to support our centres of excellence - Sciences, Arts and Sports .
EIS has a team of highly qualified international educators delivering a well-balanced curriculum based on the best standards and practices used around the world. EIS is an authorized IB / DP school, a Candidate School for the IB/PYP , a member of the Council of International Schools, and a center for the Cambridge International Examination Board (IGCSE and A Levels).
